I'm an under aged driver and the cops want me to take a drug test - What will happen?
Being under age 21 does not exempt anyone from having to blow into the roadside Breathalyzer. It is against the law for a driver under 21 years old to have a breath sample under .02 . Since in the State of Florida, a driver's license is a privilege, driving privilege can be automatically administratively suspended for up to one year for a blow recorded over .02 . Mr. Ebsary has experience in representing clients in their administrative hearings. This portion of a DUI happens very quickly ( read "DUI 10 Day Rule!" ).
If found guilty of a Florida, out-of-state or federal court DUI, the driver's license must be revoked. There may also be a fine and points added to the driver's license, community service, drug and alcohol treatment and imprisonment.
