The police have ordered or "asked" me to submit to Field Sobriety Exercises.
What are these?
There are only a few standardized field sobriety tests / exercises (FST or FSE) used throughout the country. They are the One Leg Stand, the Finger to Nose, and Walk and Turn Tests / Exercises. In Florida, there are also the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus and Reciting the Alphabet. They are designed to make drivers look bad on camera. They can be, but are not always, videotaped.
